• Accord Alliance: Provides information about intersex individuals and families.

• Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice:  Published WE ARE REAL: The Growing Movement Advancing the Rights of Intersex People, a report that includes terminology, common questions, human rights, legal issues and demands of the intersex movement. Also operates the Intersex Human Rights Fund.

• InterACT (National): Works to empower intersex youth and advance the rights of all people with innate variations in their physical sex characteristics through advocacy, public engagement and community connection. 

• The Intersex Society of North America (ISNA): ISNA was devoted to ending shame, secrecy and unwanted genital surgeries for people born with an anatomy that someone decided is not standard for male or female. They closed their doors after helping Accord Alliance open. Website has great resources archived.

• InterConnect: Builds community among intersex people and their loved ones. Has a presence in Portland.
