General Resources for LGBTQ+ Oregonians

  • Hand Up Project: Provides emergency food services that cater to the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ community. 

  • Intersect NW: A gender justice collaborative in Oregon that connects and strengthens the gender-focused organizations and gender-justice leadership.

  • Marie Equi Center: Community health program, trans and queer services center, housing navigation support, harm reduction and recovery meetings and events in Portland. 

  • Mid-Willamette Trans Support Network: Grassroots organization supporting the transgender, nonbinary, intersex, gender-nonconforming, and gender-ethnic minority communities in Linn, Benton and Lincoln Counties.

  • Northwest Gender Alliance: The Northwest Gender Alliance is for transgender persons living in the greater Portland OR-Vancouver WA area. A non-profit social support and educational group that provides a range of support, education and events.

  • Oregon Queer History Project (Formerly GLAPN): LGBTQIA2S+ archives of the Pacific Northwest.

  • ORPIB (Oregon Pride in Business): ORPIB is the hub for LGBTQ+ professionals, bringing together the people and resources that strategically support Oregon businesses. 

  • People Like Us: Organized by and for rural 2SLGBTQIA+ folks in Wallowa County, Oregon. 

  • PFLAG (Many local chapters statewide): Supporting families of LGBTQIA2S+ people and their friends through love, understanding, education and advocacy. 

  • Pride Foundation: An LGBTQ philanthropic foundation in the Pacific Northwest which offers a scholarship program. 

  • Pride Northwest: LGBTQ+ education and advocacy organization that operates Portland Pride events throughout the year.

  •  Q Center: Portland’s LGBTQ community center with many different support groups.

  • Rogue Action Center: A diverse network of LGBTQ+ community members and groups that does advocacy and direct service in Josephine and Jackson Counties.

  • Transponder: A Eugene nonprofit providing support, resources, and education for the transgender and gender-diverse community and our allies.
